There are three simple fields that need to be filled out when entering metadata. Below each one is described:
A title is a short descriptive name for your learning object. It can be a few words to a short sentence, but the shorter the better. This is the first text that you or someone else will see when looking at the repository, so make it easier on yourself and others by making it specific and short.
The description of your learning object can into much more detail. This field is also an expandable text box, so you can write as much as you want. You will want to provide as much information as you believe is necessary to help yourself or someone else understand what the learning object is and if it is suitable for them to use. For example, if you were sharing an entire module of a course, you could describe or list details about what pages, files, and media that is included.
A keyword is a word or phrase that in whole or part describes your learning object. Typically you will use several words or phrases to describe your learning object. These might include: subject, grade or level, setting, type of object, or visual elements.
